Rei: My absolute goodness it has been forever since we've visited this website.
Just to catch up: both Hana and I are (still) in the middle of college. I'm about to start my final year, while Hana has taken a break to focus on her art.
If you haven't already, check out Hana's Youtube where she makes amazing animations. If you've seen a Demon Slayer AU where Nezuko is the normal one and Tanjiro is the demon, that was Hana's work! :D
I've also continued drawing. Currently I'm working on an original Webcomic called "Signed, Your Muse." As of now it's available on Webtoon Canvas, but I've been debating whether I should share it here on Tapas as well.
And a word about our other series here on Tapas. Bee Happy Card Shoppe, Twinblades Studio, My Cat Complex and My Hero Academia-Labyrinth Chronicles are all on permanent hiatus. Hana still has plans for Doraji, perhaps sometime in the distant future. As of now, these comics will stay available to read, lovingly archived and looked upon with fond memories (and a massive amount of cringe at the art quality.)
To all those who have joined us/stayed with us, thank you! We still want to be creative and share our work with you. Hope to see you all soon!

Rei: Hey everyone~!!! Been a while. Hope you guys had a relatively ok month. Finished another dtiys on Instagram (Kael.pxl). (Funnily enough, the parts I liked most on this piece and the one before were the parts I spent the least time on. The flowers, and (previously) the hand x'DDD) I spent a lot of time on this one, and couldn't get around to finishing it until last weekend. x'D Ahhhh I finished a lot of pieces then, so I can upload a bunch of stuff here!

ASDFGHJKL; the glowy effect is so P R E T T Y teach me T^T
R: Lolll I really regret not recording the process and uploading it as a speedpaint. x'D But mostly I use very saturated colors and glow dodge (on clip studio paint; this is the biggest tip I can give since "add glow" mode makes the colors kinda washed out). Also overlay and some blur to give it that effect. xD
