It was a long beak from internet, and I am so happy too see so many of you where still there waiting.
I am really busy starting up my career as a 2D animator but still plan on making a come back both here and on other art social medias.

Here are some news for you:
After all this time you’re still here ;v; I feel bad for not being able to come back, especially after the last announcement. I started working on my patreon but then had an international internship in Germany all summer, then Spain.
I’ve also just moved to a new apartment (luckily I have my internet back) in Paris and I'm currently working on the plot and comic pages of EXtinction.
I will be back only when I have a certain amount of pages done in advance, so the new big post on the comic will be when the comic would really start again (I intend to post one page every two weeks ), with early access on patreon.
I also have an important question for you:
Considering the quality (storytelling and visuals) of the comic has increased considerably since the time I was in high school, a very big difference can be seen between the first pages and the new ones from this year (especially in the character design of Hiro).
Should I redraw the old pages to fit the new ones and folder the old page in the "Extras" section, or should I keep the old ones in the actual (printed) comic ?

My take on this is that many people like to see and appreciate progression so it's fine to leave it like this here. However, if your final intention is to print it and sell it as a book then the artwork needs to be consistent throughout. You cannot have style and character design changes in the middle of a book ( unless it's something done in more volumes printed over years, when a style change is inevitable at some point). So it depends on your ultimate goal.
Good to hear from you!! I do love seeing the improvement of artists over time so would love it to stay around. (Great motivation for the rest of us who want to follow the same path too!) But I do agree that would be best to update the earlier pages with your current style when you decide to print it! Thanks for coming back for us and keep up the good work!!
I think it would be good to keep the old ones.
Is good to hear from you again!! I do think you should be fine with keeping the old pages at least right now. For printing purposes you should probably redraw them, but not necessarily update them here, it could make a good bonus of getting the physical copy.

I actually non stop work 12hours/13 hours at school, every days to finish my biggest animation so far (2 animal acting 2D and 3D background).
My hands hurt, and I know I will probably collapse from exhaustion when this work is finished and once my goal achieved.
If I'm fine, I will try to post an upgrade next Monday, if I'm not, then probably 18 June (after the Annecy festival of animation ).
"Holidays" are coming for me and out of internships in other countries I will get more free time to finally only focus on the comic!

I'm so sorry it's been so long, actually i'm correcting/ drawing new version of the whole comic for the patron version! I worked so hard to get advance on the actual school work, so I can get (at least ) more free time to settle everything about my comic.
My goal now is to release the "first version" of my patron, draw make 3 pages in advance. IF I manage , the next upgrade and the official release of the (very) long waited pages is also coming this week . I will write a new message like this one if things don't turn like hoped !
