Hi! Just wondering if you are doing ok and if DOTU is on a year long hiatus or if it is on a permanent hiatus, anyway hope you are in good health and that you are recovering from the ending COVID pandemic. Your arts awesome by the way.
I just found out that Tapas has been showing my queued/scheduled posts to readers before they're released. This means I can no longer schedule Tapas posts in advance. I'll do my best to update here when I can, but I can't promise a regular schedule if I can't queue posts in advance or at least save drafts. Updates will still continue at the home site (the only place to read the original R-rated version as mobile episodes), and they'll resume on Webtoon on November 12.

Hey guys, I have an exciting announcement! Demon of the Underground is back on Tapas with brand new mobile format episodes!
I’ve spent the past couple of years working super hard to balance DOTU with a heavier freelance workload in order to pay the bills. DOTU has been running at a reduced schedule exclusively on Patreon, but after a whole lot of 80-hour weeks, new pages are going to be released publicly within the next couple months, or possibly sooner! In preparation for its return, I’m posting fresh vertical scroll versions of all past pages.
The first episode just went up, and two more are coming later today. Then we’ll have daily updates for a while! Chapters 1-3 will post at a fast schedule, so we’ll catch up in no time!

This week, I launched a serialized prose novel on Patreon showing Merritt's life in the North Sphere before the start of Demon of the Underground! I've been working on it for almost 3 years, so I'm super excited about the launch! It updates on Thursdays 2-3 times per month.
Chapter 1 went up yesterday and is free for everyone to read, and chapter 2 will go up on Thursday with a BIG free excerpt. Given the knowledge of how poor I am, will this be released to non-patreon members? Or will I simply have to wait until I have money?
After the entire story is posted to Patreon (~60 chapters, ~3 chapters per month), AND if we reach the Patreon milestone goal of $1250, the ebook will be released for sale to the public at a typical market price (but free/deeply discounted to patrons). Merritt's story will always require payment in some form. I post DOTU for free, so I depend on Patreon bonus content to bring in a living wage for it. I'm only about 1/3 of the way to a freelancer's living wage, but getting closer thanks to Patreon! I'm trying to figure out a way to offer chapter installments to people who tip a lot with the Tapas app, but I don't have a plan yet, and I don't know if there's any demand for that. If I come up with something feasible, I'll let you guys know.
