It has been a while.
It might be a while yet.
As I'm writing this, my mother is in hospice after a heart procedure. And I'm very torn. She is the source of my antagonist in Now Loading. The sudden drama and following events with my mother since December have left me exhausted. Now I'm struggling because... it's not how I expected this real life story to end.
Right now I feel very vulnerable. I've withdrawn from social circles, feeling like a stranger. I've chased down family for weeks to keep them updated. I've had long, difficult talks with my sibling. I've been researching medical and arguing with doctors to be heard. And we're selling a house and organizing the new house, my partner's parents' home, that they left after both passed last year. ...I miss them.
Cayden and Owen’s story isn't over. And I have more stories I want to tell. There is so much art and things to come. Please know how much your love for my fluffy boys means to me. They are my solace.

I am sorry to know about your mother. I understand it is a very difficult time for you and you need time off. Please take care of yourself and your family. I hope everything works out for the best. Take care of yourself and praying for you and for your family. Stay safe.
