I’m an aspiring scientist, an aspiring writer, an existing dog mom, an avid turtle lover, an iced-tea connoisseur, a D&D player (and DM), a taekwondo dabbler, and a human being, among other things.
I've been writing stories for as long as I can remember-- from an elaborate 3rd grade series about mischievous cats, to cringe-worthy AU Harry Potter fan fiction, through a creative writing minor in college. I want to start actually publishing things, in some form, as I stumble through my final year of grad school. I hope you enjoy!

You may have noticed that the update day for Casters' Court hasn't been consistent over the past several weeks. I was running an experiment to see how the update day impacted readership.
I have since concluded my experiment with the decision to update on Saturdays from now on. Bonus for you all-- the second half of the current chapter will be up this Saturday at midnight. :)

This week, Casters' Court hit the milestone of 500 views! In honor, and as a show of thanks, here's my new subscriber-thanking graphic (that I FINALLY got time to finish). You might notice some familiar avatars on the infamous Wall. ;)

Toast— ha. What a hilariously applicable euphemism. I try to focus on that, on the sheer absurdity. In my relative state of hysteria, I start to laugh. Toast. Why toast? Toast isn't even cooked in a fire. Even before toasters, we toasted our bread in a pan over a stove. So many things are actually grilled on an open flame. Not toast.
Mayhaps I'll post more of these for upcoming chapters. :)

ICYMI, BOTH parts of chapter 11 are now up! Consider this an apology for the unexpected two-week hiatus I took during the end of National Novel Writing Month. Rest assured, I was hard at work writing 50,000 new words of Casters' Court for your eventual viewing pleasure. :)

I am deeply sorry for missing a post last week. I had a mild health scare, and it disrupted some of my plans. I'm back on schedule now, and the second part of Chapter 7 is available at midnight CDT. Then, next week, we will return to the showdown between the Court and the bluelighters!
