The bedroom is based on my dear big brother's bedroom style when we were kids. The colour scheme was yellow and green with brown furniture. The bright, colourful scheme with the presence of notable old school things like lamps and such are inspired by the old Hanna-Barbara cartoon the Jetsons.
And yes, the bed of androids and AIs are in fact charging stations made to be like beds because they too like to be comfy when they "sleep".
