Hello, my readers! I don't want to update Adopted after so long and it only be an update and not an actual chapter. I had plans to hash out a lot of Adopted during my spring break buuuut. I got covid and am just now starting to feel like I can actually function and do normal things around the house again. I've been quarantining and mostly sleeping for about a week and won't come out of quarantine until next week which is right when I have to go back to work so I don't really get a break 🤣 With all that being said, I hope I'll have proper energy to write some more before going back to work.
Thank you to everyone for being patient with me. I haven't forgotten Adopted or my other works. I'm just taking a while to get back to it and catching covid has slowed down the process. Stay safe out there and wear masks! The whole nine yards. I got the vaccine last year which is why I think my case is mild (but still awful). And will get the booster shot once I fully recover.
With all that being said, if you're missing Adopted, consider buying the official, published version on Amazon! You can find it by searching Adopted Vol. 1 by Rebeka Porter. I would appreciate the support as well but no worries if you can't buy the official version 🙌 The first draft on Tapas will always remain free for readers.

Hello, readers!! I started the next chapter for Adopted! I didn't exactly have writer's block as I know exactly what's going to happen this chapter. It was more of mentally preparing to write the stuff 😅 (Spoiler: it's nothing bad so don't worry too much about the characters!)
June wasn't the best month for me since I had some personal stuff (still unresolved but I'm letting go and calling it a day) going on and that occupied a lot of my brain. It affected me more than I thought it would so I decided to take a break from writing. I want to give you guys the best for Adopted and all my future projects ^^ so a break was definitely needed ~
I also want to remind everyone that it's okay to take breaks and make time for yourself. It's not a selfish thing to do. Life isn't always great and that's okay. Do what's best for you and make sure you take care of yourself first so that you're ready to face whatever day comes your way ^^

To all my Adopted readers, I want to sincerely apologize for the lack of updates since the beginning of this month. I've been busier at work and when I finally had a bit of downtime, some personal things came up and I haven't been in the best position to write. However, I'm going to do my best to hash out some chapters this week because I really miss this story and its characters. I'm really excited for what's to come and I think you'll really enjoy these next few chapters I have planned ^^
Unfortunately, the new chapter for Adopted has been pushed back to this weekend 😴 I've had a very unexpectedly busy week paired with teaching in the heat while wearing a mask 😠I'm drinking lots of water and taking care so don't worry! Just focusing on getting some good R&R so I can have a good work day tomorrow before the weekend ^^
