Description

In the vast world of Aethyra, where magic shapes all life and sorcery stands above all, countless races thrive—Elves, Dwarves, Beastfolk, Dragonkin, Spirits, Angels, and Demons. Sorcery is an art so rare that only a handful in history have ever touched its depths.

Among them is Aetherion Ryu, a mage who has lived for over fifteen centuries, though the world believes the age of great magic has long passed.

Fifteen hundred years ago, a shadow fell upon Ryu’s childhood. One of the Eight Fallen Luminaries, once celebrated heroes known as Luminaries, now corrupted, fought against his parents. This Luminary—En, the Broken Oracle—met his end that day. From afar, Ryu, only two years old, watched helplessly through Veilpiercer’s Sight, a magic that allowed him to perceive events beyond his reach. He saw the clash, the final breaths of his parents, and even caught a glimpse of a mysterious black figure soaring across the sky for a fleeting second, silently observing the battle.

Ryu survived, cocooned within a barrier that even the gods cannot breach, shielded from the horrors that claimed his family. Though only a child, he could wield magic—but not yet sorcery.

Now, fifteen centuries later, Ryu’s name is etched into history, revered across Aethyra for his discoveries and the creation of entirely new forms of magic. Yet behind the legend lies a quiet resolve, a shadowed past, and a destiny that stirs just beyond the horizon. The echoes of the Luminaries, once heroes and now the Fallen, linger still—and the memory of that black figure, watching, may yet herald a truth long buried…
