Nina never found it odd that her adoptive parents never wanted to talk about her adoption. She didn't dwell on the gaps in her childhood memories either. She never questioned her parents' decision to move across the world, even without an explanation. Though she never had time to think about it before they suddenly passed away.

But when scarily realistic dreams start, an unknown family member shows up, and she accidentally attacks her ex with flying shards of glass, she needs answers. Mirrors don't break on their own. Sprained ankles don't heal in minutes. Stab wounds don't disappear in a matter of days. Human eyes don't glow. Dreams aren't real. Right?

Would finding answers be more scary than not knowing the truth?

Honestly, this isn't my best work, but I started this when I was much younger and my writing was different. When I uncovered it and fixed some grammar, spelling, and holes, I knew it needed some more work (probably a complete overhaul), but I am coming to terms with the fact that I am not the same person I was when I started this story. Regardless, I wanted to find a way to share it. Hopefully it will still be enjoyable to read, so please give it a chance.
