The Veil is an unforgiving place wrapped in darkness; with monsters and demons lurking at every corner. The nights are unsafe and the living have learned to hide themselves indoors to avoid the horrors it contains. The world is well known to swallow up any light and twisting every goodness, leaving nothing but darkness behind. Yet from the shadows emerges a flickering light, an innocence which has no place in this world and only exists to be snuffed out. With the wish to burn brighter and hold out a hand to those who stand lonely beneath the darkening skies.

Upon meeting a proud creature of the night, Lysithea, a young woman born from heaven and earth, makes it her goal to save his soul; despite his own disinterest. Yet her ideals have no place in a world so harsh and unforgiving. With a promise that as long as she is near him her heart will grow darker she decides to take the risks, placing her in the middle of an ancient struggle between heroes and monsters.

But is it truly his fault that her soul would descend into darkness?
