Description
Becoming a thief was Prentice's first real choice, even if he stumbled into it quite by accident and to the embarrassment of his new guildmates. Though his sworn brother Orestes--also an ex-soldier--doesn't quite get it at first, he soon joins the thieves guild too. There they find an unexpected sense of camaraderie, friendship, even romance. They find it hard to truly embrace their new lives, still struggling with the roles they left and the betrayal that forced them to leave their homeland.
On top of that, the thieves' system isn't as stable as it boasts, and outside forces are slowly picking apart the web of alliances it has woven over the years.
