Description

Louis Aabis is the definition of a spoiled brat. Born into wealth and a powerful line of Alphas, Louis is the assistant CEO of Aphrodite, one of the country’s most successful skincare brands, and the expected heir to the company. With money, status, and a face that has gotten him everything else, he sees no reason why he shouldn’t do exactly as he pleases.

That is, until his mother casts him out and leaves him without the fortune or protection he has always relied on.

With nowhere else to go, Louis turns to a local shelter, only to be refused because he is an Alpha. The last person he expects to come to his rescue is Hinata Haruto; a hardworking, painfully generous “Beta” who volunteers at the very shelter that turned Louis away.

Hinata and his family offer Louis refuge under their roof, but not without conditions. In exchange, Louis must earn his keep until he gets back on his feet. Louis, meanwhile, intends to tolerate the arrangement only until he can reclaim the life that was taken from him.

But what should have been temporary soon stretches far beyond what either of them planned. Hinata’s body begins reacting to Louis in ways a Beta shouldn’t, awakening instincts that have remained dormant his entire life. And the closer they become, the harder it is for Louis to ignore the one person he has no business wanting.

Neither is what the other expects. And maybe... that’s exactly why they can’t resist another taste.
