Description
In a world where the land has been destroyed by genetically designed monsters, only a few of these ticking time bombs remain; enlisted to protect the city, they are carefully watched, coddled... and kept in a gilded cage.
Eli is their leader, the oldest Vital, and the only one who really remembers what the end of the war was like. Paired with a Guardian who truly can't understand the ways of a Vital, he has his work cut out in protecting the common man.
When rumors of the mysterious 'Grey Blade' become solid, events begin to lead to a grand revelation which will change the way Eli and his Guardian see each other- and the world around them.
